6. Be sure to wash your pillowcase at least every other day as it holds the oils and dirt from your skin from the previous day.

8. It has been shown that zinc deficiencies can cause acne breakouts. Try to keep zinc rich foods in the house so you can maintain a proper level.

10. Foods that you can use at home: Some people use the juice of a raw papaya to help take the swelling out of pimples. The pulp from a ripe tomato, can be used by placing it on the areas of the breakout and leaving it on for at least an hour. Be sure to get the right amount of fresh fruits and vegetables in your daily diet. This will help keep your body regular and healthy. Honey can be used as a mask on the face at least once a week. It is been known to kill bacteria that is found in your skin and it's a great way for healing acne.
